Why is Oud valuable?

Oud is obtained from the rare resin formed in the agarwood tree. The process is slow, unpredictable, and arduous. For this reason, high-quality oud raw material is one of the most precious elements in the world of perfumery.

Why is origin important?

Brunei, Assam, Cambodia, and different geographies affect the character of oud. Some ouds can be sweet and resinous, some smoky, some spicy, or more animalic.
