The secret of iris in perfumery lies not in its flower, but in the rhizome it hides underground. This story, which begins long after the showy purple flower fades, matures with the drying of the root and its gradual acquisition of olfactory depth. That's why Iris Absolute is surprisingly quiet, cool, and material, unlike what one would expect from a flower at first.
In its opening, a subtle hint of earth and dry wood is perceived. Then, the famous violet-powdery facet emerges; however, this powder is not like a cosmetic dust, but as natural and serene as light on a smooth stone. Over time, a creamy, slightly waxy texture develops; while the woody shadow within the root grounds the scent, the velvety floral notes gradually soften on the skin.
Iris Absolute is not a bright floral note. It gives texture rather than volume, light rather than color, to a composition. It smooths out harsh transitions, making flowers more refined and woody notes more silky. What makes it special is its ability to feel both distant and close: as serene as a cool stone surface, yet surprisingly soft as it approaches skin warmth.

How should I apply this oud?
Apply a single drop to pulse points — wrist, neck, behind the ears. Concentrated oils bloom over minutes, so wear sparingly.
How long does it last?
Pure oud oil is exceptionally long-lasting; expect 10–12 hours on skin and considerably longer on fabric.
How is it shipped?
