The flowers of Osmanthus are tiny; the impression it leaves, surprisingly vast. From a handful of small golden blossoms rises a layered scent simultaneously evoking dried apricot, light tea, soft leather, and a warm florality.
At first, there's a velvety radiance reminiscent of ripe fruit. This fruitiness is neither juicy nor sugary; it's closer to the deepened, soft texture of sun-dried apricot. Then, the delicate, tea-toned aspect of the flower emerges. A light leathery undertone anchors the scent, elevating Osmanthus beyond a simple fruity floral.
Osmanthus Absolute shifts as you get closer. One moment as delicate as a petal, the next as intense as dried fruit; sometimes light and silky, other times it gives a dark suede sensation on the skin. How should I apply this oud?
Apply a single drop to pulse points — wrist, neck, behind the ears. Concentrated oils bloom over minutes, so wear sparingly.
How long does it last?
Pure oud oil is exceptionally long-lasting; expect 10–12 hours on skin and considerably longer on fabric.
